A proud Pinellas County native, Justin has spent his life in the Tampa Bay area and built his career serving the community he calls home. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida before attending Florida’s first — and, as he would argue, best — law school, Stetson University College of Law. While at Stetson, Justin was a member of the nation’s #1 ranked trial team, sharpening the courtroom skills that would become the foundation of his legal career. 

 After law school, Justin joined the Sixth Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted crimes on behalf of the State of Florida in both Clearwater and New Port Richey. In 2020, he was honored as Rising Prosecutor of the Year by the Clearwater Bar Association in recognition of his service and dedication.

During his tenure, Justin served on the DUI Manslaughter Squad, working alongside law enforcement from the earliest stages of crash investigations to ensure cases were built thoroughly and handled with precision. He also spent years prosecuting crimes against children, tirelessly advocating for the most vulnerable members of the community and putting those who hurt them behind bars.

At the same time, Justin understood that most who get in trouble aren’t bad people, they’re often good people in a bad situation. He consistently sought solutions that addressed underlying issues such as addiction and mental health challenges — approaches that protected the community while creating pathways for meaningful rehabilitation and long-term change.

After leaving the State Attorney’s Office, Justin broadened his experience by serving as in-house counsel for a national auto insurance carrier before joining a local plaintiff’s firm handling automobile accidents and other civil matters. Having represented both plaintiffs and defendants, Justin brings strategic insight and a comprehensive understanding of how cases are evaluated, defended, and resolved. Today, he leverages that experience to advocate effectively for clients at Oldham Law Group.

Outside the courtroom, Justin enjoys spending time with his wife and their two boxers, Kiwi and Luna. Whether at the beach, by the pool, or exploring Florida’s Gulf Coast, he takes full advantage of the place he has always been proud to call home.
